Calea was born from a clear vision: to create a place that celebrates the extraordinary beauty of the Phlegraean Fields, an area known throughout the world but still to be discovered in its most authentic essence.
The name itself reflects this deep connection: Calea comes from the fusion of “Cal-dera” and “Flegr-ea”.
The Calea Hotel is immersed in breathtaking surroundings: hills reflected in the sea, emerald volcanic lakes, mountains that seem to hold ancient secrets.
Here, where nature has sculpted unique landscapes, this project was born: to transform a vision into a contemporary retreat that honours the area without imitating it, offering modern comfort without betraying the identity of the place.
After years of meticulous planning and work that respected every detail, Calea opened its doors on 1st June 2024.
A boutique hotel with 13 rooms with sea views, private terraces and outdoor hot tubs: a project that looks to the present with solidity and to the future with ambition.
